Tired Wings IMIX's on ITUNES

Tired Wings IMIX's on ITUNES

11.19.08 | posted by: Joel

I loved as a kid making the most bad as mixed tapes possible. My need to do so still exists and it just simply has changed formats. On Itunes I recently started the Joel Bedlam's: Tired WIngs IMIX Series.

With IMIX's you can sample the songs, if you like you can purchase a song, purchase the whole mix because its got such a solid vibe, use it as a reference to go steal it off of your fave torrent site or...whatever.

To check these bad asses out you need to go to your itunes, click on music, then click on IMIX, then search out Joel Bedlam's Tired Wings and sample away. My last two playlists are as follows

TIRED WINGS VOL 3
Johnny Cash - Rusty Cage
Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazlewood - Some Velvet Morning
Mark Lanegan - Cripple Creek
RL Burnside - Just Like a Bird Without a Feather
William Elliott Whitmore - I'm Building Me A Home
Jimi Hendrix - Hear My Train a Comin (acoustic)
Kings of Leon - Closer
D'Angelo - Untitled
Bon Iver - Flume
Bill Withers - Ain't No Sunshine

TIRED WINGS VOL 4
Mogwai - Batcat
Torche - Healer
Tomahawk - Sun Dance
The Jesus Lizard - Chrome
Young Widows - Glad He Ate Her
Battles - Atlas
Godheadsilo - Another Schizoid Ambelism
Melvins - The Kicking Machine
These Arms Are Snakes - Woolen Heirs
Helmet - In The Meantime

Hope you get something cool out of it, VOL 4, wicked for walking, just wicked.

Raise the Hammer: 'If Arkells are this damned good on their first album, I can't wait to hear where they take it from here.'

11.05.08 | posted by: travis

"Hard-hitting, melodic, bluesy rock with crisp guitars, driving bass and bombastic drums: hot damn, these guys are good!"

"Singer Max Kerman's voice is raspy and dynamic - now raw and throaty, now a quavering falsetto. His vulnerable expressiveness reminds me of Win Butler from Montreal's Arcade Fire, or perhaps Adam Duritz of Counting Crows (if they weren't so damned precious)."

- Ryan Mcgreal, Editor of Raise the Hammer
